All Hallow's Read: The Treater's Trod

The moon is high, the wind is bold;
My candy bag is big and hollow.
My costume cloth is glittered gold,
the path of pumpkins easy to follow.

My candy bag is big and hollow.
The air, it smells of cider spice,
the path of pumpkins easy to follow.
We bang on doors: one, two, and thrice!

The air, it smells of cider spice.
Me a princess, my brother a frog.
We bang on doors: one, two, and thrice!
This night we walk a treater's trod.

Me a princess, my brother a frog.
Witches and monsters wander the street;
This night we walk a treater's trod.
With the porchlight on, it's "trick or treat!"
