WOMEN IN GENRE FICTION: GENDER STEREOTYPES AND BREAKING PAST THE LABELS

  • Cox Business Center 100 Civic Center Tulsa, OK 74103 (map)

(HALL B)
The world of SFF/horror has been heavily influenced by classic, well-loved, male-focused stories like "Lord of the Rings." How can we push past labels and create characters that are universal and speak to all readers?
